UTV Motion Pictures and Dharma Production's I HATE LUV STORYS all set to hit the screenson 2nd July 2010. Movie producers will be Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by debutante Punit Malhotra, nephew of designer Manish Malhotra. The Music of the film is given by Vishal & Shekhar and lyrics penned by Anvita Dutt, Kumaar & Vishal Dadlani. The lead roles have been portrayed by Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor, while Sammir Dattani and Sameer Soni play effective supporting roles.

Jay Dhingra (Imran Khan) is die-hard cynic, one of those upper-class Mumbai dudes, who he lives by the mantra “I hate love stories”. However, working as an assistant director to Veer Kapoor (Sameer Soni), the renowned ‘romantic’ filmmaker of Indian Film Industry, Jay has little option but to live with the larger than life, glossy, cinematic love. All this is only to achieve his biggest dream - to make it big in Bollywood. He is designated to work under the new production designer of the film, Simran Sharma (Sonam Kapoor). This romantic comedy is a love story between all three characters. Sonam and Sammir are in love and Imran comes in from the third angle and falls for Sonam. She has to decide who she truly loves. Kites, is a shining example of technical brilliance meets perfect execution. I just loved the way story gets executed in parts, one by one sequences. In an order that is easy to engage the viewers. I don't know much about Hollywood [or any other movies, which sources says Kites is based upon]. But the storyline is interesting. So is the screenplay and editing - that in Two hours we get this ride. Technically movie is near perfect. Cinematography is breathtaking Everything, from Las Vegas to deserts of Mexico, looks amazing on screen. while action is mind blowing. somewhere the chase sequences looks stretched and seems repeating. And that makes second half, a little bit slow comparing to overall pace.

Rajneeti

http://www.novamov.com/video/58b70e6b613fe

As expected, Rajneeti is running successfully all over the world beating Kites and Houseful released around Rajneeti.

One can see online poll here 57% viewer have rated Rajneeti as 5/5 and 26% have 4/5. Well, about 4% viewer of this blog has rated it 1/5. I think these are those people who were expecting much resemblance with Mahabharta so they were disappointed and rated so.

Every star of Rajneeti are liked by audience as our poll indicates; however, Ranbir Kapoor is slight ahead. It was not expected because his character is in this film very bad and even he suspected that kids and females fans of him may not digest his so much gray character in Rajneeti.

Rajneeti was special for Katrina Kaif in many ways and it proved too. Katrina Kaif is really going ahead very strongly in Bollywood and with every films her position in Bollywood is going stronger and stronger and now she would be first choice of any kind of film because she has proven she has talent and ability to learn fast. Her next movies are Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan and Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara and Karan Johar's Dostana2. All these projects are very good and Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara would be special for Katrina Kaif because of her costar Hirthik Roshan. This is her Katrina Kaif's first movie with Hrithik Roshan. Katrina Kaif's all recent movies have done good business at box office because gives much importance to the script of movie not role in film. With this approach her roles in films too get nice shape.

Rajneeti is really an realistic and entertaining movie. Audience wonders how Shrut Seth was reacting with her love making scene with Prithivraj Pratap (Arjun Rampal). She was overeacting her sexual pleasure to please him and for Prithivraj Pratap it was not a new thing even such over reaction. These little things make Prakash Jha's movie very special.

Rajneeti has got overall 4/5 rating. People were expecting more positive shades in character as they were linked with epic characters, but it is impossible in just 3+ hours.

Overall, Rajniti is a good movie to see.

There are some sites where one can see Rajniti movie online free, but for this one have to spend lot of time for searching and then
downloading and overall satisfaction is not good.

This is really worthwhile movie to see in theater so go to nearest theater and enjoy this movie.

Raavan

http://www.novamov.com/video/058fb96b33371

This June, Prakash Jha presented today's Raajneeti inspired by Mahabharata. Now, Maniratnam's new version of Raavan inspired by Ramayana is creating a great buzz around the world. These are not the new experiences in Bollywood. There are many Hindi movies with the adaptation of the other great epics. In the series - Dev D has gotten the biggest popularity.

Raavan is a new Hindi movie of Bollywood which releases today on 18th June, 2010 in India. Story of Raavan movie is loosely based on the great Indian epic Ramayana which tells the story of Rama. The epic introduces a great jungle war against demon-king of Lanka – Ravana who had abducted Sita – Rama’s wife.

Beera Munda (Abhishek Bachchan) is a strong and rugged beast of a man. He has played the character of anti-establishment in Raavan Hindi movie. He is fiercely protective of his people. He is a hope for the oppressed.

Ragini Sharma (Aishwariya Rai Bachchan) is vivacious woman, passionate about music and art. She has own approach towards the life. She resists and fights back with the challenging struggles.

Dev Pratap Sharma (Vikram) is an aggressive encounter specialist. Dev is a man on a mission in Raavan 2010 movie. His current mission is Beera. He doesn’t justify right or wrong. He only knows about his duty towards the state.

Sanjeevani (Govinda) is a gregarious and unkempt forest guard. He knows very deeply about the struggle of Beera. He is the middle man in Raavan movie just like Vibhishana in Ramayana.

Raavan 2010 film is directed by Mani Ratnam. A. R. Rahman has introduced the best music in the film. Gulzar has created the best lyric for Raavan Hindi film.

Official website of Raavan film - http://raavan-thefilm.com writes about the movie synopsis, “RAAVAN is not a story, it is a world.

Beera Munda – Undisputed, Unlawful, Untamed

Dev Pratap Sharma – The Punisher, The Law, The Righteous

Ragini – Conscience, Beauty, Music

Dev falls in love with Ragini, a spunky classical dancer who is as unconventional as him. They get married and he takes up his new post in Lal Maati, a small town in northern India. A town where the word of law is not the police but Beera, a tribal who has, over the years, shifted the power equation of the place from the ruling to the have-nots of the area. Dev knows that the key to brining order to any place is to vanquish the big fish; in this case – Beera. In one stroke Dev manages to rip open Beera’s world, and set in motion a chain of events which will claim lives, change fortunes. Beera, injured but enraged hits back starting a battle that draws Dev, Beera and Ragini into the jungle. The junge which dense, confusing, scary. And in this journey they must confront their own truth. A journey which will test their beliefs, convictions and emotions. Emotions which are as scary and confusing as the forest. The forest becomes the battleground. The battle between good and evil, between Dev and Beera, between Ram and Raavan. But when the lines dividing good and evil are blurring fast whose side will you take. When hate turns to love and the good starts looking evil, which side will you battle for? Love is a battle that nobody wins but everyone must fight.

Even this Raavan.”

Overall, the whole story of Raavan movie revolves around Dev, Ragini and Beera. The movie starts with the married couple of Dev and Ragini. Dev as an encounter specialist enters into Laal Maati, a small village of northern India where Beera, a tribal has established his own law among oppressed people.

Forest is the battleground of this Raavan also. The movie script is also not beyond the love. It is love which is not won by anyone but everyone must fight for this, even this Raavan also.

Raavan movie is the second best new version of an Indian epic which is introduced by Mani Ratnam after Thalapathi, which bore close resemblance to the Mahabharata.

We already have watched Jungle movie which was also based on the almost same concept. But there had nothing more about a tribal life. Now, the Raavan movie has introduced Abhishek Bachchan as a naxalite leader who is very intelligent.

Mani Ratnam has tried to introduce the film on the real ground of northern India’s life. The film is compared with Omkara 2006 also. But there are many differences in both movies.

Mani Ratnam has given the real ground of Raavan story but the character has been taken from Ramayana. The movie touches only one aspect of naxalite leader’s character – Beera’s intelligence and his struggle for oppressed.

Raavan movie is very confusing for our audiences. Mani Ratnam has not drowned a very clear line for Beera. Is he evil? Is he good? Justify yourself. There is a buzz also round us – Raavan or Robin Hood.

Raavan movie has tried to introduce both things together - mythology of Indian culture and the flair and fun of Bollywood. Cinematographers Manikandan and Santosh Sivan have shown their best effort.

Background scenes, dialogues, music and characters are very natural in this movie. Raavan movie releases in India in Hindi and Tamil versions. Catch it in your nearest theaters today on 18th June, 2010.

Mr Singh / Mrs Mehta’ doesn't have a shred of artistic merit. The film is tackily shot and feels as if the director had no idea how to go forward with his threadbare plot. Ashwin and Neera yak on and on about how they fell in love with their spouses, until you want to throw up your hands and yell, "Who cares?" What's infinitely worse is the dreadful acting. This film might have worked as soft-core porn, but alas it doesn't even engage on that level. I'm going with one out of five for director Pravesh Bharadwaj's ‘Mr Singh / Mrs Mehta’. That's two hours of my life I'm never getting back.Word of advice to everyone involved: if you're going to take your clothes off on screen, don't forget the body make-up!

Considering that Bollywood has so few adult films to offer, this one's a rare experience. And the fact that it is dealt with a degree of understatement and maturity, with a great music score (Ustad Shujat Hussain Khan and Sharang Dev) to translate the emotional quotient on to the screen, makes it a decent watch. The duo begin as the victimised twosome, but soon the lines begin to interestingly blur. Who exactly is the fall guy -- and girl -- in this complicated foursome? More importantly, who is cheating and who is being cheated upon in this film which actually isn't about Mr Singh and Mrs Mehta. It's about Mrs Singh and Mr Mehta who play the game of infidelity with a degree of artistry and subterfuge, adding some strange twists and turns to what would otherwise have ended up as a predictable tale about dangerous liaisons. Don't go asking for too much and you won't end up disappointed. The film is a refreshing walk off the beaten Bollywood track and scores on its minimalist approach to matrimonial discord.

Pravesh Bhardwaj's film Mr Singh Mrs Mehta comes as a bit of a surprise. Despite its many flaws the film steers clear from making any moral judgements. Where the film really suffers and unfortunately so does the audience is the pace. Motifs of art house cinema -- the cigarette -- being rolled unhurriedly, the smoke curling into the air have been repeated through the film and it gets tedious to watch. But there are some redeeming features to the film too. Apparently MSMM has been shot in Wales and the locations are interesting. Prashant Narayan delivers an effective performance as the timid husband who is aware of his wife's infidelities but is unable to confront her. Instead of laughing at him, the audience feels a tremendous empathy.
